Autowater Irrigation Co., Inc. is a registered plumbing corporation (license #3821) owned and operated by Geoff Boyle (Master Plumbers License #M-16248). Autowater is the ONLY irrigation company in greater Boston owned and operated by a Master Plumber. Geoff has been installing and maintaining irrigation systems since his summers in high school and college 25 years ago. In the Spring of 1997 Geoff started Autowater and has installed and repaired thousands of local irrigation systems. Since Autowater became a plumbing corporation in 2010 we are now able to install top quality sprinkler systems without the additional hassle involved with hiring an external plumber to make the plumbing connection and install the required backflow preventer on the house water supply. This saves customers time and no longer necessitates any additional scheduling. We permit and install this primary phase of the sprinkler system installation in-house. Our process is now more efficient and all of the work will be completed by our friendly, factory-trained professional staff.
If you need repair service, a Spring activation or a Fall winterize service, we have a fully staffed office, with a cutting-edge voice over IP phone system and four full time service technicians to keep your system running efficiently.
In Autowater’s 20 years in business, our staff have seen just about everything in the irrigation industry, but that doesn’t mean we’re not still learning. Irrigation is an ever changing and expanding industry that is very quickly evolving. Our staff attends continuing education classes in the Winter months to stay abreast of the latest advances in our industry.
At Autowater our customer’s happiness is our top priority, followed closely by our love of the outdoors and all things green. This is why Autowater uses 100% recycled paper, then scans, shreds and recycles all paper that comes through the office. We separate all plastic and cardboard on the jobsite and then properly recycle it from our shop in Arlington. Autowater also uses fuel efficient four cylinder vehicles for the majority of our fleet. From our Toyota Yaris estimator vehicle to our service fleet of Ford Transit Connects, we strive to reduce our carbon footprint as much as possible. Despite large growth in our business necessitating an increase in our total vehicles from five vehicles to eight vehicles over a seven year period, we were able to decrease our fuel consumption by 33% (from 4,500 gallons to 3,000) in the same seven year period
